Florence – On October 8-11 Pisa will host its fourth-annual Internet Festival, bringing innovation leaders from around the world together for four days of exhibitions, installations, speakers and other events.
The Internet Festival will occupy 19 buildings throughout the city of Pisa and host over 400 events. The theme of this year’s festival is “Space for the Digital Revolution,” with all of the events falling into one of nine categories: Digital Garage, Hackorto, Living Culture, Porto Franco, Digital Scene, Game Box, IF Terminal, T-Tour or And Then.
The IF Terminal will serve as a meeting place festival-goers to learn, teach, enjoy and inspire innovation in highly digital topics like music, theatre, cooking, big data and sports. The T-Tour will host educational and informal activities for all ages.
The Internet Festival is one of the biggest and most important conferences of its kind in Europe. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.internetfestival.it/en/.
